Heather Matuszek, who was born on April 2, 1987, in Providence, Rhode Island, has established herself as a distinguished Executive Assistant in the Construction and Design industry, now calling Florida her home. Her journey from the Northeast to the more temperate Florida showcases a path marked by significant personal growth and professional development.

In 1996, Heather and her family moved to Stuart, Florida, where she quickly immersed herself in a lifestyle that embraced sports and outdoor activities. As a young girl, she participated in ice hockey and baseball, which were instrumental in developing her teamwork and leadership skills. At Martin County High School, Heather broadened her athletic involvement to include softball, powderpuff flag football, and rowing, further demonstrating her commitment to sports and team dynamics. She also exhibited leadership abilities early on by serving as class vice president for two years, showcasing her aptitude for organization and leadership.

After graduating from high school in 2005, Heather pursued higher education at Mercer University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Leadership and Service. Her time at Mercer was filled with activities that enhanced her leadership skills, including leading roles in Baptist Collegiate Ministries and participation in intramural sports. Heather also achieved academic success by co-authoring a research paper published in the Journal of Morphology. However, her college experience was deeply affected by the loss of her older sister in a car accident, an event that profoundly influenced her personal and professional outlook.

Returning to Florida after college, Heather sought roles that would keep her close to her family and community. She worked as a substitute teacher and coached high school sports, which allowed her to make a positive impact on young lives. Her career path shifted significantly in 2010 when she entered the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. In this new field, Heather's leadership abilities quickly propelled her to managerial positions, where she excelled at overseeing operations and leading teams. She also continued her passion for coaching by mentoring the softball team at Jensen Beach High School.

In 2013, Heather's career advanced as she took on the role of Director of Operations for a QSR in Largo, Florida. Her strong performance led to her participation in a national Interim Manager program in 2014, which involved managing and opening new restaurant locations across the United States. This role eventually led to her appointment as Owner/Operator of a QSR in Clearwater, Florida, in 2016, which she managed until 2021.

Looking for new challenges, Heather and her partner ventured into real estate and construction, founding a cabinet design company and establishing Feather Lane Consulting LLC, which specializes in restaurant business consulting and property management. In her current role in the construction and design industry, Heather leverages her extensive experience in leadership and operations to manage complex projects and ensure their successful execution.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Heather enjoys a rich personal life. She shares a deep bond with her partner of eight years, with whom she enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. Heather is also an avid surfer and musician, often seen playing guitar at local venues. Additionally, she has a passion for property renovation, taking on projects that challenge her creativity and technical skills.

Heather's commitment to community service is unwavering. Since 2010, she has been actively involved in sponsoring a child through World Vision and has participated in various mission trips to help communities rebuild after natural disasters. Heather Matuszek's story is a testament to her resilience, leadership, and enduring dedication to making a positive impact in her professional field and the wider community.
